Synopsis for "When the Widow Calls!"

Black Widow sends a distress call to the Avengers when she finds herself in over her head infiltrating an AIM installation. Hawkeye is the only one available, though he has to blow off a dinner with his estranged wife to answer the call. When Bobbi finds out Clint stood her up for Natasha, she's initially jealous, but upon following up and realizing it was an emergency, she secretly tags along as Mockingbird, embarrassed about the conclusion she leapt to. Hawkeye finds Widow and saves her from having her mind transferred to a robot. They uncover part of AIM's megalomaniacal plot involves several cannisters of preserved brains. Before they can do anything else, they're attacked by the robot while AIM's high council monitors the situation.
