HistoryEdit

Sigurd was the son of the Earth Sprites who resided in a forest he claimed as his own. When Thor, Balder and Loki returned from a mission for Odin and tried to cross the forest on their way home, Sigurd barred their way and challenged them to a duel. Thor accepted, but during the battle, he realized how Sigurd became ever stronger. When Balder informed Thor that Sigurd became stronger every time he touched the ground, Thor flung him into space, where his feet would not touch the ground any more^[1].
