History

Ruby Summers was the daughter of Emma Frost and Scott Summers in the alternate future/universe known as Earth-1191, home timeline of Bishop, Shard, and Trevor Fitzroy. She managed to survive outside of the mutant internment camps, living freely in Atlantic City. She came into contact with the time-stranded Layla Miller and took her to her father, a considerably aged Cyclops, who had survived with the help of cybernetic prosthetics. Layla convinced Ruby to follow the dream of the X-Men and fight for the freedom of mutant-kind. Ruby journeyed to New York and along with her two friends, Dwayne and Lingon, began the tide-turning "Summers Rebellion." Ruby joined with pro-mutant humans and fought the oppression of mutants by humans.

Powers

  • Optic blasts; Similar to her father's, but black and red in nature.
  • Capable of turning her skin into an Invulnerable Ruby Form; Similar to her mother's, This form can be maintained for decades, and prevents visible aging. In this form, she can survive without sustenance.
