She entered the world of Daredevil when she extends an offer to Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson to join her law firm as associates. Initially, Daredevil was taken aback by Sharpe's presence, particularly when he discovered that she and Foggy share a connection from the past. It is later unveiled that she is, in fact, Foggy's birth mother. Sharpe's decision to divorce her husband and leave her family in pursuit of her legal career was a pivotal moment in Foggy's life, serving as inspiration for his own journey into the field of law.
History
Early Life[]
Rosalind Sharpe while still young she met and married Edward Nelson. The two had a child in which they named Franklin "Foggy" Nelson. However, Rosalind left Edward and abandoned Foggy while he was a small child. Subsequently, Edward met and married Anna Nelson, who embraced and loved Foggy as her own son, providing him with the nurturing he needed. Foggy's interactions with his biological mother remained infrequent. as he grew up.[1]
Following her divorce and a refusal of aid from her former spouse, Rosalind relocated to Boston, endeavoring to establish her legal practice. Despite initial struggles, her fortune shifted upon forming an alliance with mobster Billy "The Grip" Grippo. In the ensuing years, she carved out a reputation for herself, working under Grippo's patronage.[2] Rosalind's prominence in the legal arena earned her the moniker "Razor Sharpe" amongst Boston's legal circles.[3] Sunny Sitka assumed a pivotal role in Sharpe's operations, managing her office affairs and ensuring security.[4] Recognizing her newfound independence, Sharpe sought to extricate herself from Grippo's influence. A significant figure met an untimely demise, with suspicions directed towards Rosalind, though the incident was officially ruled a suicide. Holding onto incriminating evidence, she effectively shielded herself from Grippo's potential reprisals. [2] Amongst Rosalind's acquaintances in Boston featured William Gatz, a tech savant of considerable acclaim. [5] Sharpe undertook the legal representation of Graham Grayson, securing his freedom after a DWI charge. Tragically, Grayson's subsequent involvement in a fatal drunk-driving incident cast a shadow over the earlier victory. [4]
Nelson and Murdock[]
Rosalind Sharpe emerged in the realm of Daredevil when she propositioned Daredevil and Foggy Nelson to join her legal practice. Much to Daredevil's surprise, it was revealed that Sharpe had a connection with Foggy, being his birth mother. Inviting both Foggy and Matt to dinner during her visit to New York City, she laid out her ambitions of founding her own firm. While Foggy eagerly embraced the opportunity, Matt declined, prompting Rosalind to subtly hint at Foggy's future prospects at the firm being contingent on Matt's involvement.[3] Subsequently, Mr. Hyde sought legal representation from Sharpe for a high-profile murder trial involving Angela Parish's death.[6] Amidst managing office renovations, Sharpe engaged in a battle of wits with Murdock before assigning him the task of representing Hyde. [6]Encouraging Matt to display more passion during case discussions, especially for media exposure, Sharpe navigated the complexities of legal strategy.[7]
Witnessing footage of Everett Halstead's heroic deeds, Sharpe expressed her desire to take him on as a client, subsequently assuming control of his legal affairs. [8]
Sharpe meticulously investigated Matt's past, uncovering Karen Page's previous career as an adult film actress. She subsequently commended Karen for her transformation and expressed a desire for friendship. [4] Sharpe's encounter with Karen in Matt's office showcased her admiration for Karen's journey. Additionally, she convened with Foggy and Murdock to strategize legal approaches for the Parish case. Notably, she expressed enthusiasm upon learning of Foggy's association with Daredevil. [4] Rosalind's ire was palpable when Matt failed to appear for Hyde's trial. However, Foggy's unexpected display of solidarity altered her plans, leading to Daredevil's dramatic intervention. [9]
Rosalind leveraged her authority to compel Matt's compliance in investigating the Baxter Building's ownership. Despite initial reluctance, Matt acceded to her demands. Later, their encounter at a Plaza event culminated in the unmasking of a villainous scheme. [10] Rosalind interjected during Matt and Foggy's interview, signaling her firm's stance on mutants. Subsequently, she endeavored to enlist Daredevil's aid in a case involving Mark Raxton, alias the Molten Man. [11] Rosalind's maneuvering to elevate Foggy's profile became apparent, albeit at the cost of personal relationships. Meanwhile, a crisis at the office unraveled, pitting them against an assailant linked to Rosalind's past. [2]
Venom[]
Sharpe contacted to Matt Murdock, urging him to step forward and represent Eddie Brock, famously known as Venom. She asked him over the phone to represent him as a pro-bono case, as this could be great PR for their firm. Despite just wrapping up the intense Mister Hyde case, his sense of justice and duty compelled him to take action. Aware of the complexity and notoriety surrounding the defendant, Matt recognized the significance of this case. With determination in his voice, he agreed to undertake the case.[12]
Niomi Brinke[]
Supermodel Niomi Brinke, besieged by a persistent stalker, urgently sought representation from Rosalind. Meanwhile, Sharpe devised a cunning scheme to exploit Foggy's involvement in the matter. As events unfolded, with Rosalind orchestrated a strategic move, setting up Foggy on a meet up with Niomi at Luna Lounge. Rosalind fielded a call from his current love interest Liz Allan, providing crucial information on Foggy's whereabouts.[13] Rosalind received an urgent call from Niomi, who had once again encountered her relentless stalker. Acting swiftly, Rosalind accompanied Niomi to Foggy's apartment, only to find him in a state of distress, having spent the entire night attempting to reach Liz. Tensions escalated as Rosalind expressed her disapproval of Liz's priorities, prompting a heated exchange between her and Foggy, who defended Liz's choices. In the midst of the confrontation, Niomi's stalker made a terrifying entrance, brandishing a firearm. Deuce the dog, ever vigilant, lunged at the intruder while Foggy sprang into action, confronting the assailant and subduing him with decisive force. As the chaos settled and the stalker was apprehended, Niomi, perhaps seeking solace, extended an invitation to Foggy, only to be met with his insistence on seeing Liz instead. Foggy's rejection left a bitter taste in Rosalind's mouth, leading to a final rebuke from Foggy for her meddling.[14] Tensions escalated when Rosalind confronted Foggy over Matt's habitual lateness. The situation took a turn for the worse when Liz Allan, arriving for business matters, displayed a palpable coldness towards Foggy. In a desperate attempt to clarify the misunderstanding with Liz, Foggy attempted to explain the innocuous nature of his involvement with Niomi. However, any hopes of reconciliation were dashed when Sunny unwittingly presented flowers sent by Niomi, further fueling Liz's suspicions. Rosalind's amusement at the unfolding drama only served to exacerbate Foggy's humiliation as Liz decisively ended their relationship. Matters escalated when Matt finally arrived, only to be swiftly whisked away to a meeting at Osborn Chemical, further entangling him in the unfolding drama.[15]
Deadpool[]
The mercenary Deadpool infiltrated the office under the guise of a delivery guy, unleashing insults at Rosalind before demanding to see Foggy. Knocking Sunny Sitka aside, he pressed Foggy to lead him to Daredevil. Just as Matt arrived, Deadpool whisked Foggy out the window, leaving Rosalind's horrified scream echoing in the room.[16]
Americorp[]
Sharpe and Matt Murdock found themselves in a tense meeting with the apprehensive William Gatz, CEO of Americorp, who voiced concerns about Russian infiltration within his company. Despite Matt's reservations, Sharpe insisted on assigning him to the case. She made it clear that she wanted no part in anything related to Boston. Friendship with Karen[]

Despite Karen's decline of a dinner invitation, she expressed her gratitude before Rosalind seamlessly transitioned back to business mode. With determination, Rosalind swiftly orchestrated the reopening of WFSK, ensuring Karen's return to her job. Excited to share the good news, Rosalind reached out to Karen, delivering the update. Not one to miss a beat, she also reminded Matt to be punctual for work the next day[18] Rosalind's gesture of sending flowers to Karen at WFSK was a subtle yet thoughtful touch. As Matt arrived at the office, he was greeted by Rosalind's warm smile, signaling that she had something important to discuss. With a sense of purpose, she promptly tasked him with representing WFSK and Karen in their legal battles against the city.[19]

Karen's Stalker[]
Rosalind, with her once-blonde locks now dyed brown, barged into Foggy's apartment, sidestepping the doorman Carlton, to discuss business matters. Upon encountering Foggy's half-sister Candace Nelson, Rosalind's disdain was palpable, but she swiftly pivoted to extend an unexpected offer: a job as her secretary.[21] Rosalind, proposed purchasing a firearm for Karen to confront her stalker at WFSK. Despite Rosalind's well-intentioned gesture, Karen declined the offer.[22] As events unfolded, Karen found herself embroiled in a harrowing legal ordeal. Accused of murder after allegedly shooting and killing police officer Charles Boroughs, whom she claimed had been stalking her, Karen's defense fell to the capable hands of Matt, Foggy, and Rosalind. Throughout Karen's trial, Rosalind and Foggy stood steadfastly by Matt's side, navigating the turbulent waters of the courtroom. Rosalind's sharp wit silenced prying reporters like Paul, deflecting their invasive queries. Amidst the chaos, Rosalind remained a pillar of support, delivering coffees to Matt and Foggy as they tirelessly worked the case. However, tensions simmered as Matt expressed his discontent over Rosalind's involvement in Karen's firearm purchase. Under the scrutiny of prosecutor Blake Tower, Rosalind faced tough questioning regarding her role in the contentious transaction. Ultimately, justice prevailed as Karen was acquitted of all charges, vindicating the efforts of her dedicated legal team, including Rosalind.[23]
Gilsoft Games[]
Bert Gilmore, the founder of Gilsoft Games, enlisted Sharpe's firm to assist him in obtaining rights to his creative materials. Upon receiving a cautionary note from Matt, Rosalind shot him a sharp glance, effectively quieting him. Foggy sensed her growing frustration.[24]
Mysterio[]
Sometime after he and Matt joined Sharpe's firm, Foggy became a victim of Mysterio, who manipulated him into having an affair and then framing him for murdering a woman, thus ruining Foggy's relationship with Liz Allan. This also resulted in Sharpe terminating him from her firm, as she did not want her son's affair and murder accusation to bring negative publicity. When Matt started preparing Foggy's defense, Sharpe ordered him to cease, not wanting their firm to be involved at all. This resulted in Matt quitting the firm in disgust.[25] Rosalind's refusal to visit Foggy amidst his ordeal underscored lingering tensions. [26] Rosalind's attended Karen's funeral after she was murdered by Bullseye. [26]
The Kingpin[]
When the Kingpin found himself arrested for the murder of Lenny Cebulski, he turned to Rosalind Sharpe for his defense. Learning that Foggy Nelson was representing the case's crucial witnesses added an intriguing layer to the proceedings. In the courtroom, Sharpe skilfully argued that Foggy failed to establish a direct link between Murphy and the Kingpin. In response, Nelson took a bold move, summoning Fisk to the stand himself. Despite Foggy's thorough interrogation, the Kingpin remained composed, evading any damning evidence, while Sharpe interjected with timely objections. Sharpe's mastery of legal tactics became apparent as she presented compelling counter-evidence and skilfully cross-examined Murphy, one of the notorious Twin Killers. The judge ultimately ruled in her favor, bolstering the Kingpin's defense. However, the victory was short-lived. Moments after leaving the courtroom, Fisk fell victim to a hail of bullets, shot multiple times by Larry Cebulski.[27]
Foggy's Death[]
As news of Foggy Nelson's purported stabbing, coinciding with the public unveiling of Matt Murdock as Daredevil, reached Rosalind, it cast a shadow of shock and despair over her world. Unbeknownst to her, Foggy's supposed demise was shrouded in secrecy, a ploy to safeguard his life from unseen threats, a revelation yet to unfold. Attending Foggy's funeral, Rosalind stood amidst the mourners, her heart heavy with sorrow and unresolved questions. Emotions ran high as she grappled with the loss of her son, compounded by the weight of recent revelations. In a moment of unrestrained anguish, Rosalind's voice pierced the solemn air as she directed her anguish towards Matt. With tear-filled eyes and a trembling voice, she lashed out, placing blame squarely on his shoulders for the tragic turn of events. Her outburst reverberated through the gathering, mirroring the collective confusion and grief felt by those gathered to bid farewell to Foggy. Little did Rosalind know, the truth of Foggy's survival lurked beneath the surface, awaiting its moment to shatter the illusions of loss and reshape the bonds that tied them together.[28]Attributes
