Richard Nixon was the 36th Vice-President of the Untied States. On Earth-9904 he would be replaced with a member of the Skrull race in their plot to destroy America's space program. The regular course of history would lead to mankind developing technology to travel beyond their solar system. However, this was curtailed by Immortus who was attempting to prevent a future where the human race ruled the universe. To this measure, Immortus would use the Forever Crystal to erase Earth-9904 from existence. Nixon (likely still in Skrull captivity) was most likely eliminated from history like everyone else in this universe[1].
