The Time Reversal Ray could generate images depicting past events which the person or persons targeted had enacted.
At some point, Iron Man used the Recreater to probe the recent past. After Kang captured Hawkeye, Quicksilver, and the Scarlet Witch from the Avengers Mansion and transported them to the future, Captain America employed the Recreater by shining the device on the building and learned of the Conqueror's involvement in the disappearance of his teammates.[1]
