History

Little is known about the Mystique version of the Mutant X universe. While she was a shapeshifter too, this Mystique seemed to have a different, almost mettalic template. Although she was seen as a member of the X-Men, her connection with Nightcrawler or Rogue, among the group too, was never explained. Possibly she was meant to be mute, as she never spoke a single word in her appearances. Though not specifically shown, it can be assumed that Mystique died in the conflict with the Beyonder, like nearly every other super-powered individual of the Mutant X universe.
