Rat's body possesses an unusual yellow colouration with several metal discs on his head and body. He has shown the capacity to produce metal spikes from any of these discs and to curl into a large spiked metal ball. These spikes were durable enough to stand up to Wolverine's adamantium claws for some time before being cut.
