History
The history of this incarnation of Power Pack most likely mirrors that of their Earth-616 counterparts; the siblings Alex, Katie, Jack and Julie received their powers from a dying Kymellian, and used them to first rescue their parents from another alien race called the Snarks, and then become a superhero team.
When Deadpool went even more insane than before and started killing off all superpowered individuals on Earth, heroes and villains alike, Power Pack were among the many heroes that he slayed. When Taskmaster, who had been hired to stop Deadpool, followed the murdering maniak’s trail of bodies, he came across the remains of Deadpools battle with Power Pack; the crashed Smartship Friday, and Jack Power’s costume, thorn to shreds. Seeing this made Taskmaster even more determined to stop Deadpool no matter what, rather than just doing it for the money.[1]Paraphernalia
