HistoryEdit

Piotr Rasputin was born on a farming enclave in Russia. He planned to follow in the footsteps of his older brother Mikhail and become a Russian Cosmonaut, but before he could, Russia was thrown into chaos by the rise of Magneto.

In the months that followed, Russia was torn apart by a civil war prompted by Magneto's rise to prominence as a mutant leader. Piotr, who had recently developed his mutant abilities, longed to join a side but could not leave his family's farm for fear that something might happen to them while he was gone. He defended his community from minor human and mutant attacks and became the mutant shield of his community.

Now, years later, with the Mutant Wars over and Magneto firmly in control, Piotr has taken over his family's farm and has a life of his own. He is content as a farmer and plans on starting a family of his own someday.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Powers

Colossus is a mutant with the ability to convert the tissue of his body into organic steel while retaining his full range of mobility. This steel form gives him superhuman strength, enabling him to lift/press close to 85 tons under optimal conditions, as well as protection from physical damage.
