Pietro resented Vision because of his love for his sister. At Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne's wedding, Pietro attacked Vision. He ran at Vision at super-speed, precisely as Wanda jumped in his path to use her hex power. Her power caused him to lose control and crush her at top speed. Distraught over her accidental death at his hands, Pietro committed suicide by running off a cliff.
