HistoryEdit

Patrick Rourke was diagnosed with cancer shortly before he discovered his late daughter's husband, Sean Cassidy had fallen in love with Moira MacTaggert. He hired Julius Dupree, also known as the Grave Robber, to torment Cassidy with images of his late wife, drawing him out to Belfast, Maine -- where Sean had proposed to Maeve.

In Belfast, Rourke captured both Cassidy and MacTaggert and intended to blow them both up in the basement of an abandoned building. Unfortunately for him, Cassidy's love for Maeve turned the "ghost", possibly an illusion cast by Grave Robber, against her father. She held him in the burning building, allowing Cassidy to escape with MacTaggert. Rourke met his end in that building.^[1]
