HistoryEdit

Orville Jones showed up on Kid Colt's 17th birthday, challenging the Kid to a shootout. The Kid accepted the challenge but as the fight was set to begin some of the townsfolk realized that Orville Jones was the notorious hypnotist that hypnotized his opponents into losing during shootouts. No one was able to reveal the truth to Kid Colt as the shootout had already begun. Everyone was surprised when the Kid shot the guns from Orville’s hands. Kid Colt then told everyone that his father had taught him to look at a man’s hands instead of his face, explaining why he was unaffected by Jones' powers of hypnotism.

He bests his opponents at gun slinging by hypnotizing them - which implies that he must be a seriously skilled hypnotist.
