History

Designed to siphon off a mutant's energy, normalizing their powers at a lower level (kind of like placing a speed governor on an engine), and then transfer that energy to Omega Weapon, increasing his power exponentially.^[1]

Later modified by Sugar Man to channel Nate Grey's powers into opening dimensional gateways into other worlds while Sugar Man searched for a portal to his home dimension.^[2]
