History

Norrin Radd's body was discovered outside Earth's orbit by an invading Kree force. Believed to have gone mad and attempted to breathe in space, he was found with his insides torn out. Still giving off the Power Cosmic, the energy interrupted the Kree's cloaking technology, leading to their destruction by American nuclear weapons.
