Synopsis for "Battleship Burke"
Battleship Burke and his friend Salty Smith are part of a Naval strike on Inchon harbor on December 15, 1940 where they are leading a troop carrier to the shore with guns blazing. However as they approach the shore they see that the Chinese have erected a wall around the shore to prevent landings of American troops and equipment. When they get to the wall, Battleship and Salty toss grappling hooks over and climb up first, clearing out enemy soldiers with their grenades.
When another troop of enemy soldiers charges at them, they are tossed grand rifles by the G.I.'s waiting below and mow down their attackers. When they begin trying to puzzle how to smash the wall to allow troops to cross over, a tank suddenly ambushes them. Spotting the doorway to an underground tunnel, Battleship tells Salty to surrender to the tank while he slips into the tunnel. As Salty pretends to surrender, Battleship follows the tunnel to the other end behind the tank and he gets the drop on the soldiers inside.
Taking control of the tank, the two Americans use it to blast open the sea wall allowing the troops to converge on the beach. As the troops charge into battle Battleship and Salty return to their ship and quip about how G.I.'s get all the action.
