HistoryEdit

Not much is known about the past history of the man named Lelong. By his own accounts he spent time in India where he learned how to toss knives.

Lelong would become a member of a crew led by Dr. Landin to locate a map showing the location of the lost temple of Alano. Finding a map leading to it's treasures, Dr. Landin refused to show it to anyone on the expedition not wishing the fortune to be found by those driven by greed.

Knowing that the map would eventually return, Lelong would spread rumor that the map was cursed. To this end, Lelong would eliminate all those associated with the expedition including Dr. Landin. However, the map would eventually be shipped to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C before Lelong could get it. In order to gain the "curse" more credibility, Lelong would adopt the identity of Mr. Sumner and wait for someone to eventually return to Hong Kong to verify the truth of the curse.

That person would be Jane Framan, an employee of the Smithsonian charged with learning thr truth. Staging an attack by some of his hired goons, Lelong as Mr. Sumner, would attempt to win Jane's trust. However, the Thomas Halloway also come to investigate to the curse as the Angel, would recognize Lelong through his disguise and warn Jane.

When Lelong would make his move and force Jane to give him the map and take her hostage, the Angel would come to her rescue, knocking Lelong out, and explaining the whole plot to Jane. With Lelong knocked out the Angel would leave him for the authorities.
