History

Miklos Vryolak suffered from an unspecified disease, which proved beyond the ability of modern medicine to cure. Desperate to save his son, his father used a chemical that he had discovered in the ruins of a maze to treat his son. Miklos made an almost immediate recovery, but soon began to mutate, gaining superhuman strength and taking on the appearance of a minotaur.

Miklos stole money and other objects that were used to finance his father's research, supposedly to find a cure to his mutated condition. Rather than developing a cure for his son, however, Dr. Vryolak sought to develop the means to create an army of powerful warriors like the Minotaur.
