History

The Nightstalkers, Darkhold Redeemers, the current Spirits of Vengeance and Doctor Strange joined forces to battle Lilith (Mother of Demons) and protect Earth from other supernatural or mystical menaces..

The Sons battled Lilith and her Lilin on multiple occasions. They were forced to battle fellow member Blade when he was transformed into 'Switchblade' by the Darkhold. They also investigated Spider-X.

After the final battle with Zarathos the remaining members were branded as the Order of the Midnight Sons. However, their ranks broke soon after and the heroes once again went their separate ways.

A new Midnight Sons team was formed by Morbius to hunt zombies that have escaped to different universes.
