Feel free to look over the CrossGen page I've added and fiddle with it as you see fit (I'm admittedly ignorant of CrossGen, so all my info comes from online). I plan to go thru Malibu at somepoint and sort out what is Marvel-related and what should be directed towards your Malibu site.
On a related note, I made a few changes to the navigation bar at the top of the page, and included links out to the CrossGen and Malibu sites under the "sister sites" banner. I wasn't sure what the official name for them was, so they're listed as "Database", but feel free to change it if it's wrong.
Hi, sorry I can't get into the discussion, I have a lot of things going on right now & can't really give it the attention it deserves. I did look at the Manhattan page you mentioned & it kinda made my stomach hurt. are we trying to create a marvel address book there? I was wondering how does a visitor on the site find the glossary?
I don't know that they do. I know that the glossary shows up in searchs, but it is usually found after all other entries in the main namespace. But I do not know of a link or anything that brings users to the glossary.
I think it'd probably be a good idea to have an admin's chat sometime in the next week or so let me know if you think that's a good idea, and a time can be set up hopefully working for everyone. I'd post this on the forums...but they've been spammed like crap and quite dead for the past few months. :\ Hope you can make it!
So I was thinking if everyone was up for it, sometime this week even. I'm specifically busy Thursday night, but Brad said a weekday from 7-9pm (central time zone) would work the best for him, and honestly, that sounds good for me too (I am also in the central time zone). Though that may seem rushed, if everyone replies and agrees quick enough on a time, it could happen.
And to whoever gets to this part first, please leave a post on my message wall, and whoever is not first to get this, comment on the first person's post, so you can be linked in to the conversation, and all get notifications there. Thanks. :)
I'm assuming you were signed in, right? Maybe Jamie never authorized you to the staff section of the forums when you were promoted admin...I'll let him know right now! :)
So it looks like this Sunday and Monday at 8pm central time zone there will be the chats. Sorry it took a while for a reply, and it looks like Jamie hasn't fixed you in just yet, but I got you covered! Hope to see you there.
Hi Bob. I'm kinda fedup with Jamie and Nathan's absence from the site and their failure to appoint one of the regular attending admins in lieu of said absence. I just thought I would try to get a consensus among the active admins to see if I am the only one irritated by this.
I am not really upset about it, I feel we can handle the day to day operations here without them. I had asked Jamie about promoting someone and he was against it. if anything major comes up I think Jamie would be available to help out. Who would you see promoted?
Well, the consensus seems to agree with you in that the other admins are content with Status Quo. I don't like it, but I guess I'm just a voice crying in the wilderness.
