This seems like a long shot, as you've been blocked, but I'll try it anway. While looking at the Union Jack page, I found that we have two characters listed on the page from the Marvel Cinematic Universe: James Falsworth, from The First Avenger, and a red-link for Joseph Chapman. The history says you listed both of them, and I'm just wondering where Chapman appeared.
hey there, I had to revert your edit on Heimdall's page - you simply copied the wikipedia article and changed a few words around. That's plagiarism and we do not accept that on this site.
Please show which sentence is copied as I am struggling to find one. The information is similar but i have used multiple sources to help with the profile including wikipedia, marvel.com, comicvine find information as i do not have all the the comics. Please advise as i would appreciate any help on how to write his profile.
simple: read the comics, then write the histories. If you don't have the comics and can't find them, leave it. Why write about something you don't know about? Basing it on profiles you've read instead is bad enough. But simply jutting them together is still plagiarism.
look, I'm sorry if I didn't explain myself more clearly: wikipedia content is taboo - GMU licence or not. Please do not add the material again or I will be forced block you, which I would find slightly bizarre, seeing as you are a good contributor to the site.
I apologies, I am not trying to be awkward. Just trying to get my information published, I will leave Heimdall article in your hands. He is such an interesting character that no one seems to want to update the profile which is a shame. I appreciate the warning.
No problem - I figured you stumbled over the old template and thought if the template's around, it might be ok; we had a policy change concerning that a while back. I'm rereading comics from the sixties and seventies at the moment and will add the information as I go. If you happen to read a comic where he plays an important role, feel free to add the info even if it looks out of place - it will fit into the big picture when we're done.
Yeah I did find a template, sorry and didn’t know about the change.
I appreciate the support; I have only just read Journey into Mystery 83 on digital comics, Im starting from scratch as I have only been reading issues from the last 20 years up to this point so it's going to take me a while. Again thanks.
no worries - we're all in the same boat. I started rereading the marvel history from the sixties sometimes last year and just recently lost my computer - which means now I get the chance to restart almost from scratch. At least it's fun rereading the stuff again. ;)
Please be more mindful when creating pages. We already have a page on the Tryks, for instance. And not all vampire groups are sects. Some are sub-races, or related races (such as the Tryks, Aqueos, Charniputras, and others). The difference being that separate races have unique innate abilities or origins, whereas the sects merely have certain specialties that can be obtained through training.
Yes thanks, i didn't realise until i started creating the pages. Thanks for amending the Tryks page. I will try and up date each sects with the relevent information.
Please don't simply take images from Comicvine or other sites (as your Khlog image was). It looks bad when our images are coming from other, non-official, sites.
