Are "The Hulk:Magazines/Rampaging Hulk Magazines" canon, or were they retconned? P.S. Sorry for disturbing you, but I have asked many other admins and they have no idea. I thought of asking the everyone other admin before proceeding on to the entire community.
From my understanding, parts are canon and parts are set on Earth-7711. I.e., the Ulysses Bloodstone parts are 616, but many of the Hulk stories are 7711. The full extent of what's what though, I have no idea.
I have no idea how, but my latest edit on the page Fear Itself Vol 1 1 seems to have removed the infobox. And when I tried to undo my edit, its saying abusive vandal filter. Could you please please hepl me by undoing my edit?
A user pointed out that the "New Releases" section on the main page is displaying comics from 2012's Week 32, instead of 2013. Since you usually add in our new releases, I figured you may know how to correct that.
Yeah, I noticed that when I updated this week's comics last week. I honestly have no idea how to fix it. You might ask Jamie, PeteParker or Artful Dodger (blanking on people's real first names). I'm almost certain they've mentioned before how to fix it, but I'm drawing a blank. If you or they can fix it: Awesome. Thank you.
I am not sure if this will help, but the comics from 2012 are always 1 day after the comics from 2013. Like the 2012 comics will be dated August 15 and the ones from 2013 are August 14. I don't think this will help much, but if there was a way to program it into only accepting the comics on that day of the week it will eliminate the 2012 comics from the category.
Looks like you guys figured it out. Dryankee17 is right, you should theoretically be able to calculate the date using a calculation, however, it's not all that simple. Beyond being one day advanced each year, you also have leap year to account for every 4.
I always wanted to develop a way to 'figure out' the release week for ANY given date so that would be historically recorded as well (this comic was released in the 23rd week of 2010), but never got there.
I thought of something else, when we add the category week 32 or something to a comics article, maybe we could change it to week 32 2013 or something like that. Like changing the actual category name to distinguish the comics.
It sounds like that is what Peteparker is trying to do: calculate exactly which date falls on which year so a comic can be tagged with that unique identifier. However, that means we would have to generate 52 categories this year, 52 next year, and so on. It probably isn't a huge computational burden on the site, but it does mean we will have a long string of categories rather than a regular repeatable one.
I just started a new wikia for the upcoming Marvel tv show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. If would be awesome if you could look at it and maybe edit any mistakes you see... if don't want to, you don't have to...
