HistoryEdit

Mei Ling was the fiancé of the Mandarin since she was a child. She was eager to marry him, sharing his power and having a life of love in marriage. Discovering that the Mandarin did not believe in loving anyone — as a captive Iron Man had already told her — , she turned on her betrothed, saving the life of Janice Cord and sacrificing her own.
