HistoryEdit

Maria Trovaya Pym was Henry Pym's first wife. On their honeymoon, she was kidnapped by communist agents and supposedly killed^[1]. She later seemingly returned and was taken in by Pym, but this 'Maria' proved to be an agent of A.I.M who was eventually transformed into the mutated super mind called SODAM (Specialized Organism Designed for Aggressive Maneuvres), in which form she fought Pym and the Avengers. It was never proved whether SODAM actually was or was not Maria, but it is likely that she was not. SODAM was later transformed into MODAM, and the mutant Omega Red claimed that she was a woman named Olinka Barankova. However, MODAM stated that A.I.M personnel records are falsified as a matter of routine. Since MODAM has since apparently perished anyway, however, it appears that Maria Trovaya is dead either way.
