Living Eraser (Dimension Z) (Earth-616)
Contents |
HistoryEdit
The Living Eraser was the title given to the servant of the Supremacy chosen to possess the Dimensionizer. In order to steal the secret of nuclear power from the Earth dimension, scientists of Dimension Z designed the Dimensionizer. Realizing that active nuclear weapons were neutralized by dimensional transport, they decided to bring scientists to Dimension Z to build weapons for them.
The Living Eraser was sent to Earth, where he used his Dimensionizer to "erase" a number of scientists, sending them to Dimension Z, where they were imprisoned and forced to serve the Supremacy. One of these scientists was Dr. Henry Pym, who was secretly Giant-Man. Unknown to the Eraser, Pym’s partner, the Wasp, was on Pym’s finger when he was erased, transporting her to Dimension Z along with him. There, she remained hidden until she had the opportunity to help him escape. Giant-Man and the Wasp freed the other scientists. While searching for a way to escape Giant-Man was captured by the Living Eraser within an unbreakable glass cage. He was freed by the Wasp, who operated the controls and opened the cage. Once free, they easily defeated the Living Eraser and used the Dimensionizer to return themselves and the captive scientists to Earth[1].
Some time later, the Living Eraser overthrew the Supremacy and set himself up as the ruler of Dimension Z. He made plans to return to Earth in order to steal the science of their atomic weapons.
The Living Eraser arrived on Earth and was almost immediately attacked by a bloodthirsty Morbius. The assault was stopped by the Thing, but while the two fought, the Living Eraser "erased" them to a prison in Dimension Z. Morbius and the Thing joined with the Supremacy, Petril and Roween to escape the prison. The Supremacy brought them to the Eraser’s laboratory, where he used a device to return them to Earth.
The Living Eraser had by then changed his mission due to lack of support from the military, which was still loyal to the Supremacy. The Eraser sought to regain their support and convince them of his power by creating havoc on Earth. The Thing and Morbius easily overpowered the Eraser. Morbius then used the Dimensionizer to flee to another realm.
Upon returning to Dimension Z, the Living Eraser was said to have been executed by the Supremacy.

ParaphernaliaEdit
Equipment
- Dimensionizer
- The Living Eraser uses a device known as the Dimensionizer which can transport people to other dimensions, primarily between Earth and Dimension Z, although it has been used to travel to other realms as well. As the Dimensionizer passes over a surface, it turns it invisible, making it appear as if the victim is being erased. When the entire surface has been transformed, the being or object is transported across dimensions to its destination.
