Synopsis for "The Actual, Uncensored Story Behind The Origin Of... Kent Blake"

September 28, 1950: Congressman Rogers is knocked out by some Communist spies and taken away in a car, he is replaced with a Communist spy who resembles the congressman. The following day, the spy goes to a secret meeting among other members of congress to vote on the development of a new super-tank unaware that he is being watched by members of the Secret Service. In order for the vote to pass it must get unanimous approval, but it does not as the spy posing as Rogers votes against it. Later in the day, the spy is confronted by a man who poses as a newspaper reporter looking for answers about the vote. When "Congressman Rogers" acts aggressively toward the questions, the man reveals himself to be Kent Blake of the Secret Service and apprehends him. Blake then brings the phony Congressman to the office of the Secret Service and his commander Mr. Kruger, who finds the situation shocking until Blake reveals that "Rogers" is really a spy. When the impostor balks at this, Kent rips off his fake beard. When the spy then tries to shoot them, Kent Blake is a faster draw and kills the spy. Kent explains that the spy exposed himself by being unable to reproduce Roger's handwriting in the yes or no vote. Blake points out however that the case is not over as the spy was only a stooge and his leader is still somewhere on the loose and vows to capture him.

Later, Kruger meets with his colleague Mr. Bellard who is interested in Kent Blake's career. Kruger tells him the background of Kent Blake: He was a police officer in New York City who was best known for capturing jewel thieves in 1939. When the United States entered into World War II following the attacks on Pearl Harbor. Kent enlisted in the army and was sent for training in Florida. Six months later on August 8, 1942 a plane carrying Kent was shot down over Germany. Kent was captured by Nazis who tried to torture him for Allied secrets but he refused to talk. In his cell he was paired with another prisoner named Ralph Strong. The two men plotted to break out of their prison and dug a tunnel out of the camp. As they fled, Ralph was fatally shot by the Nazi guards. Strong had Kent promise to bring his shoe back to a man named Kruger in Washington, D.C. Kent agreed to the strange request and miraculously managed to return to the United States. Meeting with Kruger in Washington, Kent was informed that he brought secret micro-film along with him. Ralph also recommended Kent for the Secret Service. Kent was given the secret position of Special Secret Service, answerable only to the Chief Executive. With the story over, Bellard remarks how amazing Kent Blake is.

Later that night, a Communist spy breaks into Kent Blake's home and seemingly stabs him to death while he sleeps. The next morning however, Blake turns up alive and well and exposes Bellard as the leader of the Communist spies pointing out that Kent Blake's identity is a secret, and that Bellard was the only one who could have possibly have attacked, as Kruger and Blake were suspicious about him to begin with and provided him with the information needed to make the attempt on Blake's life. Bellard gets the drop on them with a gun and then orders Kent to strangle Kruger to death with a phone chord so he can frame Kent as a spy. Kent attacks instead and when Bellard tries to escape, Kent shoots him dead.

Synopsis for "Slaves of the Soviet"

November 22, 1950: Kent Blake is smuggled into Siberia on a secret mission to prove that the Russians have slave camps in operation in their country. Narrowly avoiding a patrol ship, Kent manages to make it to the mainland and buries his raft. In order to learn about the slave camps, Kent Blake goes to the nearest town and while pretending to be a drunk attacks some Russian officers who easily overpower him and toss him into the very camps he is seeking out. There he is informed by one of the prisoners that the slaves are being forced to work for the Delstroy Project, which has slaves digging gold to use to pay the costs for Russian atomic research. Kent learns that conditions are bad, that the slaves are forced to work day and night, forced to eat out of troughs like animals, and that they are tortured for the smallest infraction and the only escape is death.

For weeks, Kent is forced to work in the mines and uses a special micro-film camera to photograph proof and his notes on the situation. The scholar who earlier informed Kent about what happens at the camp takes a special interest in Kent and his note taking. Kent eventually was beaten again by the Russian soldiers who originally captured him and is beaten within an inch of his life. While being treated, the scholar reveals that he was a language professor before being enslaved and correctly deduces that Kent Blake is really an American. He agrees to assist Kent in escaping. Kent fakes his death and is carried out of the slave camp in a coffin. With his coffin left in a mass grave, Kent breaks free and manages to return to the submarine sent to rendezvous with him.
