History
Kebo is an agent in Hydra's modern-day incarnation. Kebo's exact role within Hydra was mostly unknown, although he did appear to have authority over a small group of Hydra thugs.
Grant Ward, a former Hydra agent, had Kebo assemble a list of names of Hydra's remaining heads after the death of Baron Strucker. Ward was dissatisfied with the list, and after viciously beating Kebo took his gang under his wing.[2]
Ward took it upon himself to rebuild Hydra from the ashes of Baron Strucker's death, starting with Kebo's gang. Kebo survived Ward's beating and became his right-hand man. Ward and Kebo tracked down Alexander Braun, a wealthy kid living a life of luxury aboard a yacht in Spain. They abducted Braun and brought him back to Ward's headquarters. Ward demanded Braun give over his bank information to Hydra, and ordered Kebo to torture the kid if necessary. However, Kebo did not know the kid was actually Baron Strucker's son Werner von Strucker, and Ward set up the whole ordeal as a test to prove Werner's worth to Hydra. Werner passed Ward's test when he stabbed Kebo with a shiv and then beat his torturer.[3]Notes
- Daz Crawford portrays Kebo in the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes "S.O.S., Part Two" and "Purpose in the Machine."
