History

The history of Karnak of Earth-9997 mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart. In recent history, Karnak would leave Earth with the rest of the Inhuman royal family following the death of Maximus, the Inhuman race leaving the Hidden Land to live among humanity and Black Bolt releasing the Terrigen Mists into Earth's atmosphere.

Karnak and the other members of the family would mutate further, Karnak would become more inhuman in form and become even more critical of the imperfections of others. Karnak would remain with the royal family when they would seek out Reed Richards and would reside at Castle Doom for a time. When Medusa would begin forming a romance with King Britain (a romance which would lead to the two getting married) Karnak would return to the Hidden Land in disgust. There he would be met by the Guardians of the Galaxy, who had come to present day on Earth-9997 seeking the reason why humanity was mutated in this reality to possibly use to turn back the Badoon invasion in their own era. Karnak would give them the information they sought, however mocking and pointing out their imperfections the entire time. Karnak's whereabouts afterward are presently unknown, but it's highly plausible he still lives in solitude in the Hidden Land.
