When a thief kills a shaman who leads him to treasure, the shaman curses him to see his features grow out of his chest. The man leaps to his death from the hospital window.

- The Haunter of the Dark! is adapted from the short story "The Haunter of the Dark" (December, 1936) by American author H.P. Lovecraft, by permission of Arkham House, publishers. The story is a sequel to Robert Bloch's "The Shambler from the Stars" (September, 1935), which was adapted last issue. It is also Lovecraft's last known work. It is part of the Cthulhu Mythos.
