Joshua Kale was the grandfather of Jennifer and Andy Kale. He was also the leader of a cult that operated out of the swamps outside Citrusville, Florida. Like many in his family line, Joshua was the keeper of the Tome of Zhered-Na. When the tome was stolen from him, Joshua gathered his fellow cultists together in an effort to conduct a ritual that would blockade a horde of demons from entering the Earth dimension.
