History
Johnny was one of the six billion people on Earth who gained super powers by taking a Skrull Pill provided by the Skrulls after Reed Richards made First Contact. He was killed when the human race was betrayed by the Skrulls and he attempted to use his hottest flame to kill the Super-Skrull, to no avail. The Super-Skrull then used his suit to copy Johnny's power, resulting in much hotter temperatures, leaving Johnny as nothing more than a smoldering skeleton.[1]
