Jessica Jones is a senior student at Midtown High and executive producer of the school's television network. She ambitiously decided that the next class project for the school newspaper is to figure out which one of the students at their school is Spider-Man. Mary Jane warned Peter about her. She later becomes jealous of Mary Jane Watson's superior film skills.

Six months after Ultimatum, Jessica claims that she abandoned her previous attempts in outing Spider-Man's identity and instead wants to make him a hero in her reports. However, Mary Jane is still suspicious of her change of view.
