History
In Earth-913 the second team of X-Men did not form. Peter Corbeau was on a Starcore space shuttle that was breaking down with the X-Men and needed someone who could both pilot the ship and survive the solar flare. Jean Grey initially volunteered, but Polaris pointed out she could use her powers to steer the ship and put no one in danger.[1]
