Multiple Man is a member of the Brotherhood of Mutant Supremacy. He was once an entire mutant rights protest march. A sample of his stem cells were stolen by the French military to create a "mutate" (a Marvel term for genetically-modified mutants as opposed to those who developed mutant powers naturally) called the Schizoid Man, with similar powers, who can stop riots singlehandedly. Madrox recently appeared alongside Mastermind, Blob, and Toad when they gate-crashed the Academy of Tomorrow's Homecoming dance. It was later revealed that the true Jamie Madrox is in fact under the hypnotic control of Lorelei and is used by the Brotherhood to send hordes of his duplicates into a killing spree. The original Jamie Madrox believes himself to be a normal teenager and the memories he receives from his duplicates being caused just by his creative imagination. He is killed by Wolverine during the Ultimatum event.

Time later, Quicksilver started using Multiple Man's duplicates to produce helments similar of his father's, which can mean that the Madrox killed by Wolverine was, in fact, another duplicate.

Able to create duplicates of himself. He can create 27 or 28 before, as he puts it, "I start seeing deja-vu".
