History

At an unspecified point in time, Charles Xavier awoke in a post-apocalyptic future where Sentinels rule and mutants and humans are both nearing extinction. Following his capture, Xavier encountered Bishop in a mutant internment camp. To Bishop's surprise, the old man was the Charles Xavier that Wolverine had always talked about.[1]

According to Bishop, Wolverine was captured and never heard from again, presumed dead,[1] although it is later revealed that Wolverine was actually alive and with a team of X-23 clones.[2]

When he reunited with Xavier, he asked what happened in the past that caused this future and Wolverine replied by saying that he was the flaw, later revealing he should have trusted Emma Frost.[2][3]

Afterwards, he led the final battle against Master Mold, where he seemingly perished alongside Charles, Bishop, and some others.[3]
