History

Jamaica Bay is a lagoon that lies in the shadow of New York City's skyscrapers and is adjacent to one of the nation's busiest airports.

The cocoon in which Jean Grey was healing was found by the Avengers. It was uncovered when a plane used by the Enclave crashed near to it.
