HistoryEdit

Jacob Reiss has never truly been alive in the Marvel Universe. While Reiss' daughter was still a child, Jacob was killed by his colleague, a very jealous and unbalanced Phillip Masters. Phillip Masters covered up his part in Reiss' murder and soon married Reiss' widow about a year later. On the evening of Reiss' murder, an ensuing industrial accident (also caused by Phillip Masters) caused Reiss' young daughter Alicia to be struck blind.
