Apparent death of Tony Stark; James Rhodes becomes War Machine for the first time.

• In this issue, Tony Stark appears only in his "dead"/cryogenic state.

• This issue contains a letters page "Printed Circuits". Letters are printed from Manson Frederick, Joey Benedicto, Mike McWilliams,Alexander Bartos, Mitchell Cadena, Luis Velez, Michael Cravotta, Antonio Nann.

• In this issue, Anthony Stark is presumed dead. Jim Rhodes becomes CEO of Stark Enterprises. He then promptly fires Vice President (and his romantic interest) Marcy Pearson. Rhodes also becomes the new Iron Man by donning the War Machine Armor.
