History
Colloquially known as H.E.R.B.I.E., this was a service robot designed by Reed Richards for implementation at the Baxter Building in New York. Reed built the original H.E.R.B.I.E. when he was a child out of a riding lawnmower, a garbage can, a basketball and a hodgepodge of spare parts. He built it so that his friend Ben Grimm could practice football maneuvers on. As an adult, Reed upgraded his designs and made H.E.R.B.I.E. more functional. Although programmed for etiquette, H.E.R.B.I.E.has taken to using informal language when conversing with the Baxter Building's occupants. The super-hero known as the Thing thinks it's "uber-creepy" when Herbie calls him Ben.
As The Maker, Reed created an army of H.E.R.B.I.E. Trons to serve him.[1]Attributes
