HistoryEdit

Hoggoth is an extremely ancient and powerful magic entity of order. Oshtur, fascinated with the cosmos and other worlds rather than Earth alone, encountered Hoggoth during her explorations and spawned Agamotto to form a benevolent trinity of magic. He and the fellow-minded Oshtur and Agamotto formed the omnipotent trio known as the Vishanti. Hoggoth normally appears as an elderly blue-skinned humanoid male. The 'hoary hosts of Hoggoth' also have a similar appearance. When the Vishanti appear as a group, Agamotto takes on the form of a large insect.
As even Elder Gods as Gaea require a mate to produce offspring, Oshtur could not have spawned Agamotto alone, and thus would have required another to spawn him; Hoggoth is the most likely mate of Oshtur, though no definite confirmation as of yet has been given.

Pantheon: Vishanti
Temple on Earth: Temple of the Three
Base of Operations: His own pocket dimension.
