History
Herr Wolf was a Nazi spy active during World War II. In the fall of 1943, he and his minions were stationed out of New York City and were to be in receipt of a new Nazi weapon called "War Water", a highly incendiary fluid that the Nazis used with success on the Russian front.
The formula was to be smuggled into the United States by Kaspar Gregg, a Swiss athlete whose parents were placed in a Nazi concentration camp and their continued living was dependent on his compliance. Although the Human Torch and Toro attempted to stop the transfer of the formula to Wolf and his men.
Learning that they were operating out of the Wolf Chemical Plant, the Human Torch and Toro arrived just as Wolf and his minions had finished completing their first batch of the War Water. They knocked the hero and fled the scene to use the fluid to destroy the George Washington Bridge. The Human Torch and Toro however managed to round them up for the authorities and destroy their supply of War Water.[1]
Herr Wolf's subsequent fate is unknown.
