HistoryEdit

Harrington Byrd was a US Senator who was skeptical of Tony Stark's accumulation of governement contracts. When the Crimson Dynamo started destroying Stark plants, Byrd suspected Stark of destroying his own plants and being a communist spy^[1]. He got him summoned to testify in front of congressional hearings on several occasions^[2]. In the end, even though he still had a dislike for Stark's playboy antics, he grudgingly respected him.
