History

Hammerhead was operating an art theft ring which was shut down by Spider-Man. After capturing Hammerhead, Spider-Man stumbled across a dimensional nexus to the Negative Zone which a cat had stumbled into. While the Avengers attempted to resolve the situation, Hammerhead repeatidly goaded them for failing.
