HistoryEdit

Gus Grim is a Native American cognitive therapist living in Colorado. He has primarily worked in the Cheyenne community, which is where he originally met Dani Moonstar several years ago.^[1]

After being assigned as team leader by Cyclops, Dani requested to bring Gus to Utopia to work with some of her teammates. Cyclops consented, though Emma Frost seem to harbor some judgement of the decision. Grim was originally skeptically he could help because if his lack of superhuman experience, but agreed to come and help. Sometime before arriving on Utopia, Grim was infested with demons intent on liberating Magik and returning for to her throne in Limbo.^[1]

Grim's gruff nature and directness seemed to rub Cannonball and Karma the wrong way, but he did leave both with plenty to think about. Grim also briefly met with Magik before the demons stowing away in his body emerged. Grim seemed to think he did make much impact during his brief trip, but Dani committed him to returning for futrue therapy sessions^[1]
