Guido was a member of X-Factor. He encountered the X-Men when they where in search of his teammate Polaris. Forge ordered X-Factor to attack, thinking a "friendly" battle would benefit the fledgling superhero team. Strong Guy battled Iceman.

Guido was alongside his X-Factor teammates while listening to Magneto's speech.
