Giganto was one of many Deviant Mutates dwelling on Monster Isle. The Mole Man made him his servant and used him to attack atomic power plants all over the world.

Giganto is of superhuman size, and possesses and unknown degree of superhuman strength and endurance. It also an expert at digging tunnels, and can hold its breath beneath water for an extended period.
