History
The first Gamma Flight team was the second-tier training team to Alpha Flight. The team consisted of Smart Alec, Diamond Lil, Madison Jeffries and Wild Child. When the government shut down Department H, the team disbanded.
The second Gamma Flight was formed to replace Alpha Flight when the Canadian government deemed them uncontrollable. When the two teams first met, they were in conflict; their relationship was competitivve and adversarial. The two teams became allies while battling Llan. After Llan was defeated the Canadian government decided to disband Gamma Flight. Wild Child and Witchfire were absorbed into Alpha Flight's new structure. Silver and Auric disappeared, only to be later captured by the Sphinx and killed. Nemesis became the leader of a small cult (and later joined Alpha Flight).
