Synopsis for "Night Attack!"
The G.I. Joe team is tasked with stopping Cobra from poisoning America's money at the source, the Bureau of Printing and Engraving. While Hawk tries to convince General Flagg to take action, Cobra Commander plans to use Major Bludd to kill Destro, while each member of Cobra has their own agenda. Cobra aircraft attack the Capitol building as a distraction while Dr. Venom and Scar-Face try to carry out the poisoning at the Treasury building. G.I. Joe thwarts their plan, but Cobra Commander captures three Joes and takes back the toxin. Cover Girl and her Wolverine vehicle save the three Joes, and a firefight ensues. In the chaos, Baroness crashes her H.I.S.S. tank and is trapped with a broken leg. While trying to escape, Cobra Commander must decide whether to kill Destro or Hawk, and ultimately chooses to shoot Hawk. The text ends with Scar-Face escaping and vowing revenge on Dr. Venom.
