Firebug was present in Toronto during the invasion of the Ska'r. Their presence created a psychic disturbance which caused many people to act insane. Firebug was using his abilities to set parts of the city on fire. Beta Flight attempted to capture him.
He was apparently destroyed when Windshear used a hard air pulse to stop him, the oxygen apparently exploding him. His dispersed energy was used by the Master against Beta Flight.

Powers
Firebug possessed superhuman incindiary powers of unknown origin. He was capable of generating flame and heat as well as being immune to both. Firebug was also able to "blow himself up" by expanding his component parts.
