History
Ferguson Blaine financed Paxton Pentecost's project to build the FAUST factory and, when the project was completed, Ferguson ousted him from the company, so in revenge Paxton cured Blastarr and sent him to destroy the factory.[1] Heard of the attack Blaine headed to the factory as the Human Torch and Hulk confronted Blastarr.[1] Pentecost took him hostage and prepared to commit suicide by staying in the factory as it collapsed.[1] Johnny stopped him, but Paxton realized that he would never be able to kill a man anyway, no matter how much he hated him.[1] Thanks to a suggestion from Pentecost, the torch and the Hulk managed to defeat Blastarr, and Fergusono thanked the young Storm, who however told him that the idea had been Pentecost's and that his greed had cost science the mind of a genius, only to fly away, leaving Blaine with remorse.[1]
